Waveform Optimization Using RF Pulse Signal on Voltage-Doubler Broadband Rectenna

In this article, the DC-output improvement of a broadband rectenna has been demonstrated using pulse signal. The waveform is optimized by varying its duty cycle as well modulation frequency. operating from 1.6 to 2.8 GHz characterized experimentally with low/medium RF power and different loads. that varies between 1 20 % for frequency 6 MHz. results show DC voltage efficiency are improved over band interest, particularly frequencies below 1.8 those above 2.6 GHz. improvement, compared 1-tone signal, calculation voltage/efficiency gain. High gain values obtained: close 14 dB at 1.675 -20 dBm power. greater than 0 low (3 kΩ) high (100 At 2.4 load 3 kΩ, 4-dB measured -30 dBm. For 100 goes 8.3 about 74.7 waveform, -15 level.
